Any Time-Life books are in a class by themselves and this ‘Foods of the World’ series is no exception. This book features Africa. Not only the traditional recipes that you would expect in this category but as this is the hard cover version there is much wonderful information and pictures about Africa itself – much like a travel book. I have included a few pictures that give an overall view of the content. The one with the ostrich egg really intrigued me as they said it was used as a drinking vessel, which was a new way of using the shell that I never knew of – you learn something new everyday.

This book is the 8.5″ x 11″ hard cover version and it has no writing, nor folds or tears or scent. It has some age related wear to the edges of the book with a touch of fade to the spine.

Thank you for looking at this item. I am selling it as I need to thin down my various collections which have grown huge over approx. 30 years of collecting and I am clearing out my storage locker.
