Video Game West – Online College Course

Do you like video games? Need an online college credit? The Video Game West, offered by Sault College, is your chance to explore the world of Western video games for college credit! This online class looks at such topics as the history of Western video games, game locations & settings, historical figures in games, the online multiplayer experience, and video game marketing. Assignments include a project in which students create their own story-line for a Western game!

The Video Game West runs for 14 weeks beginning May 12th with a range of games – such as the Red Dead Redemption series – as basis for assignments and online discussion. Registration is open until May 22nd and can be completed by email via conedregistration@saultcollege.ca or toll-free at 1-800-461-2260. The price of the course is $385.82 (CDN) and no textbook is required. The course outline can be provided to your college for program approval.
