One bedroom in shared house of five for short term rental

Our home is looking for a short-term roommate!:

Open from now till the end of August located in West Point Grey on the edge of Kits with a 20-minute walk to Jericho beach. Right beside the 14 bus line or a short walk to the 99 B-line. It takes about 30 minutes to bus downtown.

The room:

A cozy blue one bedroom in the basement for $550/month with a damage deposit of $275 and an extra $150 or so per month for hydro and internet (this gets pretty low especially during the summer)

Furnished with a queen-sized bed frame with storage and a mattress, a nightstand, and built-in desk space.

The house:

We’re a shared house of five people, all in our early 20’s, with the three bedrooms in the basement, and two above. We have a:

-Living room

-Storage/multipurpose room

-Kitchen

-Dining/multipurpose space

-Two bathrooms with one on the main floor with a shower and bathtub, and one in the basement which is mainly used for not the bathtub shower.

-Washer (recently replaced) and dryer.

-Interesting basement hallway with cabinets and a sink, currently left as a storage area.

This house also comes equipped with a front yard and backyard with plenty of storage all around. The driveway is currently taken but you could park in the street out front if that’s something you need. Oh and there’s a balcony that wraps around the outside perfect for bbq nights, basking in the sun or soaking a pretty okay view (gets even better when you sit on the roof).

I find it to be a beautiful location and despite the wear on this house, it’s a pretty good place to live. It’ll be especially so when summer comes through full tilt, even with a pandemic on the loose.
