Description

Here is a wonderful little retro jug from Hornsea Pottery. It is in the lovely ‘Bronte’ Pattern and still has it’s original teak wood stopper. The little jug is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and has managed to not get crazing, which is so common. As a bonus it still own its original teak wood top. The teak is not cracked. Of course the rubber seal has long lost its elasticity, but it is a bit rare to get the top at all. Perfectly clean. 3.5″ tall without stopper – 4″ tall with stopper. Although not strictly midcentury – it matches well with the designs of the time and most of us match the pieces together. It is clearly stamped on the bottom – which also lets you know it is from 1972.
