Heritage breed chicks – hatched June 3

Please note that I do NOT have hens to offer for sale that are already laying eggs or close to doing so.

$12 each, the chickens are still too young to determine sex. I can’t guarantee specific breeds. Best I can do is give you a variety, depending what is currently available.

Our pet chickens lead free-run lives and spend their days chasing each other around our unfenced 10 acre property and forage for the majority of their feed, including everything we grow in our garden that we don’t fence well enough to keep the little dinosaurs out.

The birds are very hardy, they’re prolific layers and they lay a wide variety of egg colours. I will provide you with a variety of breeds so you get a great selection of wonderful plumage colors and patterns, fantastic egg colours, and friendly personalities.

I understand that many people are unable to keep roosters, especially if they live in city limits. If one of my chicks turns into a rooster and you find you are unable to re-home him, I would consider taking him back since I live on an acreage where he could comfortably roam free.
