Chess Lessons Online – Tutor Certified by World Chess Federation

My name is Joy, a dentist, chess author, and an international chess player and instructor, certified by World Chess Federation “FIDE”. I have a vast experience of 35 years playing chess, since the age of 9. Having passed such a route myself helps me in dealing with players of all ages, levels, and potentials. In chess, players learn to cope with all types of positions / situations / changes, such as the current pandemic of COVID-19, where online chess lessons are an amazing and safe solution whether you are seeking fun, learning, or improvement for you or your kids. After all, staying home to be safe can be so entertaining and useful at the same time. Group lessons are possible if you want to share the experience with your family or friends.

Methodology:
I believe that teaching has to cover all general aspects of the game (Openings – Middlegames – Endgames – Tactics – Strategy…etc) along with being tailored to fit with the style, powers, potentials and even personality of each player. I tend to study the player before teaching him, to be able to guide him to achieve the highest level he can achieve. I use the latest technologies in my courses, including top chess software and the breakthrough technology of neural network engines analysis.

Hereby a brief of my career as chess player and mentor:
1-    U 14 Champion of my country of origin 1989
2-    U 20 Champion of my country of origin 1994
3-    4th in Ramadan Blitz Tournament 2010 Ahead of 4 GMs, 5 IMs, 2 FMs, 1 WFM and many Rated Players.
4-    Shared 2nd in UAE Grand Prix 2011 behind IM Fouad AlTaher but ahead of GM Sergey Kayumov among others. I was among only 12 finalists who qualified from hundreds of participants after 9 months of preliminary stages
5-    Shared 3rd in World Amateur Chess Championship – Romania 2013 (I was advised to participate by Super GM Peter Leko based on his believe that I am a serious contender for the title).
6-    Sole 2nd in Blitz section during World Amateur Chess Championship – Romania 2013
7-    The reigning correspondence chess Champion of my country of origin.
8-    Author of many chess articles, some of which were published recently in the official magazine of Quebec Chess Federation.
9-    Trainer of U14-U12-U10-U8 players in Abu Dhabi Chess Club 2010-2011. My players made considerable progress within the first 4 months.
10-    I have a vast experience in using all kinds of chess software, and in 2012 I participated in preparing the interface of the project “Houdini for android”. Sadly, the project was stopped later by the programmer due to copy rights issues.
