“Randal” is a fully restored and customized 1988 VW Vanagon GL/Customized Westfalia. Check out the customized wood camper cabinet, steel pop top with sunroof, and the 70’s inspired plaid upholstery – plus so much more!!!

The water cooled engine was overhauled at 246K km. We’ve only driven an additional 2K km since restoration and the engine overhaul (16 months ago). Randal has a Manual transmission, and is under 7’ in height allowing him easy access for most underground/building parkades.

Also, there is a stereo with Bluetooth and an added switch allowing you to run off either the house or solar auxiliary power supplies, plus there’s a USB charging outlet in the dash.

100% rust free with all the common Westfalia rust areas protected by either POR15 or Raptor Liner.

Randal, originally manufactured in Germany, was professionally restored and customized with attention to the smallest of details. Everywhere we go he is constantly looked at, photographed, and talked about. A definite attention magnet! Photos highlighting the build process are available upon request. We will also include the Shop Manual for the 1988 VW Vanagon in the form of a PDF file.

WHY SELL SUCH A COOL VAN? Sadly, we are selling “Randal” because we are moving to the maritimes, and we feel that he deserves a milder winter for many, many, many more adventures.
