Wanted: Child Care Provider – Private Home

Care and Supervision required for two young school going children at our residence in Delta, BC (110 street and 83 A Ave area) . Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, newcomers, and persons with disabilities are welcomed to apply.

Duties include: Take children to and from school and to appointments, Prepare and serve nutritious meals ,Tend to emotional well-being of children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, , Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.

Wages: $15.00 per hour, Full – time position ( 40 hours)

Requirements
Completion of High school
Diploma or training in relevant field is required.
Experience will be an asset
Fluency in English required
