GROCERY DELIVERY SERVICE – COVERING WEST/NORTH VANCOUVER

My name is Andrew and I am starting a business to deliver GROCERIES, ICE, and ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES to your place of residence.

Who am I?
-I am 38 years old, from Saint John, NB originally, and a Dalhousie University Alumni with a Major in Economics. I was recently employed by a Tech Company in downtown Vancouver for the past 6 years. However, I was furloughed due to revenue shortages, and cash flow issues affecting many businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
-I am now actively searching for a new job, but in the meantime, I wanted to help those who may need these types of services
-I will add that my Mother was a key contributor to this idea. She is a retired Registered Nurse of 40 years’ experience (working primarily in the GI Lab & Day Surgery). She lives in a rural, geographically dispersed area where it is time consuming and inconvenient to shop for the basics. Additionally, her peers who live in more dense areas are running into long lines, and time-consuming ques to accomplish the same tasks.
-Simply put, I am now off during the days and finding it extremely easy to shop at off-peak times. So, I wanted to extend this out as a service that I can provide to those who need it (or simply want it as a convenience).

How does this work?
-I can deliver Groceries, Ice, and Alcoholic beverages to your place of residence, your office, or even the BEACH/PARK (if that is where you happen to be).
-All I would need are directions to your location (or a pin-drop) and we are all set.
-Turnaround time on your order will be approx. 2 hours
-Yes, I will wear a mask upon drop-off of delivery

What area do I cover?
-I live in North Vancouver, and am covering the area(s) between Deep Cove, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver

How much does this cost?
Here is a cost + premium schedule
$100 or Under = Cost + 25% (For e.g. $100 + 25% = $125)
$100 – $200 = Cost + 20% (For e.g. $150 + 20% = $180)
$200 and Over = Cost + 15% (For e.g., $200 + 15% = $230)
*Cost reflects subtotal after tax
*Receipt will be provided

How do you pay me?
-Cash would be the best option, but I am good to receive e-mail money transfers as well upon delivery.

Special Instructions?
-If you have special Instructions that you wish me to follow (either with drop off, or dietary considerations), do not hesitate to let me know by e-mail in tandem with your order.

My goal:
-I would like to have regular clients who will trust me to deliver these goods on a regular basis (but Ad-Hoc / One off orders are totally fine). This will allow me to put together a weekly schedule, and I will be able to provide you with transparency on the arrival of your delivery.
