FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN WANTED(Surrey)

Experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician — Surrey, BC

Lanz Mechanical is looking to fill full-time positions.
Duties include maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of small to large forklifts and container handlers. Applicant must be familiar and knowledgeable with hydraulic and electrical systems and disassembling and re-assembling all types of forklift components.

Key Qualifications:
-Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician
-Class 5 Driver’s License
-Class 1 Driver’s License is an asset
-Basic computer skills
-A strong understanding of the English language (written and verbal)

Responsibilities include:
-Diagnosing various equipment for malfunctions and faults.
-Cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment in-shop and in-field.
-Interpreting manuals and breakdowns.
-Ordering parts from various suppliers.
-Writing work orders/service reports (written and typed)
-Meeting manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations.

Compensation: Competitive wages dependent on skills, knowledge and qualifications. ($25.00 – $42.00) + benefits after probation period

*We are also accepting apprentice resumes, however, the applicant must have completed at least 2nd level Heavy Duty App. and have a very strong history of mechanical experience
