Food and Beverage Assistant

We’re a waffler shop located beside the beautiful White Rock beach. Every day we prepare fresh waffles, crepes, coffees, and milkshakes for our customers.

We are looking for positive, outgoing team members that are able to work in fast-paced environments and provide an amazing experience for our customers.

We are looking for candidates who are able to work at night on weekends, and day/night shifts from Monday to Friday.

Probation period: 3 months. potential full-time after the probation periods.

Responsibilities and Duties:

deliver an exceptional guest experience
deliver a quality product in a timely fashion. (prepare waffles, crepes, coffees, and milkshakes)
practice strong communication skills to communicate effectively with our guests and managers
make decisions based on what is right for our guests
maintain a clean work environment
abide by all health code requirements
manage all monetary exchanges in the store by taking orders and ringing up transactions
perform other duties assigned by management
adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance
adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling
Requirements:

Able to cut fruits, vegetables, and cook foods.
previous experience in the food industry
dedicated, hard-working
self-motivated, positive attitude
able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
