This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career within the operations team of a dynamic and challenging growth stage company. The overall objective of the operations team is to manage and execute all daily tasks that are required to deliver the detailed scope of work within the projects focused on automation and prefabrication. As an AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) Integration Specialist, you will be a lead resource the execution of complex virtual construction projects. You will also be critical in teaching our clients how to navigate CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to help address the needs of AEC projects Role Responsibilities: As part of the operations team, the AEC Integration Specialist will be primarily responsible for: Create Structural (Mass Timber and Steel Systems) and/or Mechanical (Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical) 3D models for fabrication Support engineering project calculations and deliverables as required Virtual design and construction review of 2D drawings for all building elements (i.e. architectural, civil, structural, mechanical & electrical) or any other 3D data file into one central 3D parametric model using CATIA Attend and support project coordination meetings, deliver live reports to clients and construction personnel for large AEC projects Manage revisions in the model that take place throughout the design and construction phases Generate various detailing packages linked to the 3D model Extensive modeling in CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE and simulation / process planning in DELMIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE Identify and implement process improvement opportunities (i.e. applying manufacturing engineering methodologies to large-scale construction projects) Other duties as assigned.  Requirements Desired Skills and Experience: Coding experience in VBA, EKL or C# highly desirable Willingness to learn the construction industry and how to read construction documents Willingness to learn structural and mechanical design engineering of AEC projects Knowledge of CATIA and ENOVIA a strong plus Knowledge of Revit, Tekla and AutoCAD a plus Strong Microsoft EXCEL skills desirable Fluent in English A detailed oriented person with the drive to work in a dynamic, challenging and fast growing company and grow with the company Excellent team player.  EducationBachelor in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred but all engineering backgrounds are welcomed to apply (Co-op/Internship students can also apply if working towards a degree).
