Electrician (Apprentice, Journeyman or Master)

Job Description:Job Type: Full Time position based on performance and skills Job Location: Vancouver, BC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Commute to various project job sites to work with installation team to install LED Lighting, projects types include:Commercial Interior LED projects: LED Troffers, install T8 ballasts, retrofit existing fixtures to accept LED Lamps.Exterior LED Projects: operating and working on lifts to install LED Shoebox Lights, LED Wallpacks, LED Recessed Disk Lights and Retrofit of Sconces to LED.Industrial LED Projects: involve working on lifts to install High Bay LED fixtures.Troubleshoot and diagnose existing lighting fixtures and systems.Performing routine preventative maintenance.Warranty / Service calls to maintain LED lighting within existing facilities.Project Management of existing installation team and subcontractors.Progress Reports to clients and TGL executives. SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONSKnowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation required.A valid Class G Driver’s License required with a clean driving record.Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs.Must be able to stand for long periods and climb up 10 ft. laddersNot fearful of heightsTime Management & Organizational skillsStrong written and oral communication skills EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Possess a Certificate of Qualification as a 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician or Red seal certifiedWHMIS, Working at Height, Fall Protection and Lock out Tag out certification are preferred.Criminal Background check is requiredOrganized and efficientComfortable speaking and communicating with clients on siteCompany Description:T.G.L.
