Ceramic Classes: Hand Building

Ceramic studio “Turiya – The Fourth” in Lake Country is offering Hand Building course. This course will be held for 5 weeks on Thursdays starting April 16 ending May 14, from 6 – 8 pm.
In each class, our participants will learn all about the fundamental steps of hand building, and will also receive a demonstration of new techniques. Students will then have the opportunity to experiment with various decorative patterns. No experience is needed for our Hand Building course. We are able to host up to 10 students for each session, so please bring a friend or family member!
Class I. Slab building technique
Class II. Pinched pot
Class III. Coil building
Class IV. Using mold techniques
Class V. Glazing
The fee for five (5) weeks is $250.00 + tax. That includes: 10 lbs of clay, professional instructions, tools, two firings, glazes and studio time between classes to practice.
