Description
The Upstream Lab research group at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario is doing a virtual computer-based research study to learn how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve primary health care, and we want to hear the views of Canadians. Knowledge of AI is not required to participate.
Can I participate? We are looking for Canadians who are at least 18 years old and have a primary care provider, such as a family doctor or nurse practitioner. If this describes you, you can participate in this study.
What is involved? Attending one or more virtual group video discussion sessions. Sessions will be held on weekdays in September and October; multiple times are available. You may attend up to three sessions.
How long will it take? A session will take up to 2 hours of your time, including 0.5 hours spent on an informational module before a session and 1.5 hours for the actual session.
Will I be paid for my time? Yes. All participants will receive $40 for each session they participate in ($20/hr). You may choose to participate in up to three sessions.
Do I have to participate? No. Participation in this study is voluntary.
Is it confidential? Yes. No one outside the session will know if you spoke to us or what you shared. All data will be stored in a safe, secure place.
