The Herons Are Heading Out (Online Webinar)

The heron chicks of Stanley Park have hatched, learned to fly, and are starting to head out from their nests! In this webinar with Urban Wildlife Programs Coordinator Dannie Piezas, learn about the herons that live in Stanley Park, their habitat needs and what it took for the juvenile birds to leave the nest. You’ll get an update on what the herons are up to right now, including how many nests were active this year and how many juveniles have fledged (left the nest). Ask your questions in real time, just as if we were together in person!
