Labourer – Shop Labourer

Job Description: Summary In this role, you will be working closely with the shift Leadhand/Supervisor to ensure our shop equipment and facility cleanliness are functioning at the highest level.   Job Duties  ·         Out/Indoor yard and shop clean-up ·         Assist Technicians as required ·         Pressure washing vehicles and compactor units ·         Shuttling Vehicles, parts pick up and returns ·         Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager   Requirements ·         Class 3 License with Air Endorsement (must attain within probationary period) ·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills ·         Works well with others in a team environment ·         Strong work ethic and sense of personal accountability ·         Lifting of up to 35kg ·         Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. ·         Weekends/evenings may be required ·         Knowledge of industry an asset   GFL Environmental is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
