Forklift Operator/MHE

We are seeking an attentive, and highly energetic individual to join our IOS team as a Forklift Operator. This role requires an individual who is flexible enough to work as a contract employee with the added benefit of becoming a contract-to-hire employee under the employer’s discretion and based on performance reviews.

Start Date: Asap

SHIFT:

Morning Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Afternoon Shift – 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Location: Delta & Richmond, British Columbia

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 / Hour

Job Responsibilities:

– Operating forklift in a safe and efficient manner

– General duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

– Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

– Ability to lift 30 pounds.

– Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns.

– Promote a clean, safe and positive work environment.

– Flexible on Overtime or weekend shift work if needed

– Reliable, punctual, team player, able to take direction and require minimal Supervision.

Job Requirements and Skills Set:

– Experience with Forklift (reach truck or order picker)

– Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions in English

– Steel-capped boot (Safety Shoe) –ensures protection of feet from falling objects or compression.

– Attention to detail.

– Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred.
