C or C++ Computer Programming ( Coding ) Tutor

Description

Location : V7K1K2, Canada

I am a computer professional with over 20 years of C++ programming experience. I have been employed by such companies as Nortel Networks and Nokia Ltd. I have tutored students from BCIT, UBC, SFU, Kwantlen, Langara and Capilano Universities.

As well, I have been teaching C and C++ part-time studies courses at BCIT since 1999.

Courses I am currently teaching:

http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/comp2617 (normally 3 semesters a year)
http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/comp2618 (normally 3 semesters a year)
http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/comp2511 (normally once a year during the summer semester)

Courses I have taught in the past:

http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/comp2717
http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/comp3479
http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/elex2125

C or C++ are excellent “first computing language” choices if you have a child that wants to learn to code and gain a strong foundation that they will be able to use for all programming courses they may take in the future. I am also currently teaching several children ages 13 and older how to program. This includes a child that is high functioning autistic.

I have a significant amount of C and C++ training materials that I have accumulated while teaching and tutoring to share with you. This includes programming exercises, quizzes, power point slides, videos, etc.

Here is a partial list of courses I am prepared to tutor:

Procedural Programming in C – BCIT ( Comp 2511 )
Procedural Programming in C – BCIT ( Comp 2510 )
Object Oriented Programming in C++ – BCIT ( Comp 3512 )
