MOVING INTO TRAILER – UNWANTED/NEEDED ITEM PURGE.

Hey! It’s time to sell the hoard of LEGO that has been accumulating in my son’s room (he’s 19 now)
over the many years. I have spent so much on LEGO for him it’s not even funny. But mark my words,
every LEGO set I bought was cherished and loved and squeezed of its value in the priceless currency
of imagination & character building (literally).

Disclaimer: THERE ARE NO MANUALS! (I lost all of them). But let that be a way to spark creativity through
your child’s own articulation of design, construction & WORLD building!

There are so many unique & awesome brands to list in these assortments so let me try to nail them all down.

So, we have:

– LEGO PowerMiners

– LEGO Indiana Jones

– LEGO Star Wars

– LEGO Atlantis

– Bionicles

– LEGO City

– LEGO Creator

– LEGO Pharaoh’s Quest

– LEGO Technic

– LEGO Mario Bros

I think the best part about having everything be disassembled is the fact that it’s going to make the
JOURNEY of LEGO-building to be SO much longer & “intense”.

How does LEGO sell so well & continuously?

They sell so well b/c it only takes SO LONG, following the manual, to create a franchise-specific
creation.

And since we all know after an hour or two, once the work is finished, the “interest curve” does a straight
nose dive off a cliff… and into a bath of LEGO-studded alligators… it’s only a matter of time before
the “I’m finished with this one. CAN WE GET ANOTHER ONE? PLZ? PLZ PLZ PLZZZZZZ????!!!”

It’s like the economics of buying a new car versus buying used. People become so indoctrinated into the logical fallacy
that it makes sense to continually buy “The Best New Thing” because of some deeply routed mental programming
(Corporate Marketing Influence over the decades; Consumer Mindset) that has them on the mousewheel of buying sequentially, instead
of using patience & financial wisdom to optimize what they already have or optimize the price at which they can acquire (investing) what they desire
(for themselves / for others [child]).

In the case of buying a new car, despite the instant depreciation, jacked up cost/complexity of maintenance/parts,
people still have this processive spending habit that urges them to continue on the bandwagon, when it is that exact consumer mindset from which financial
turbulence/ discomfort arises. ESPECIALLY in a place like VanHoover (get it?).

The parallelism with buying used LEGO becomes apparent when you decide to break free from the same
Shiny Object Syndrome that plagues Carbuyers & take it upon yourself to invest in diverse, qualitative (& quantitative) Used LEGO like what I have offered. This one time exchange
of value will fill up your child’s Creativity Fuel tank to MAX, and will keep it running for YEARS without having to swipe for another “fill-up” (more like FED-up) from LEGO’s Corporate Wheel of (un)Fortune.
