Older MacBook Pro (2009 15″)

$200 OBO. Model A1286. 15″

Bought in ~2008/2009. Had a brand new hard drive installed in 2012, but was gifted a new laptop shortly after the install, so it wasn’t used and has been in storage ever since.

It’s an older MacBook, and I cannot seem to update the software beyond Mac OS X 10.5.8. I would recommend this only to someone who is good with computers, or someone willing to take it to apple to upgrade.

It also doesn’t have good battery life simply due to its age, so it would be better used as a stationary computer.

Physically it’s in good condition except for a light dent on the top, and a small crack at the bottom left of the screen (which isn’t visible when the screen is on). The charging cable works perfectly.
