What will you do?
As a Senior Technology Solution Architect with our Vancouver client, you will:
•Serve as the technical Solution Architect subject matter expert (SME).
•Collaborate with team members, other IT teams and customers to understand objectives, needs and issues.
•Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Solution Engineers to define/review the solution requirements.
•Identify options to address the solution requirements, create solution selection criteria, and assess options against criteria.
•Provide technical leadership and plan activities leading to the design/development of solutions.
•Participate in all stages of the product development life cycle.
•Produce solution designs for new applications and manage design updates for existing
applications.
•Define, document and develop in-depth knowledge of the structures, processes, integrations, data and infrastructure of assigned solutions.
•Define, document and develop best practices, design patterns and technology standards.
•Facilitate evaluation and selection of hardware and software technologies.
•Analyze current solutions, identifying opportunities for improvements and automation.
•Research/monitor technology developments and industry trends, and make recommendations to enhance productivity.
•Review the work of team members and provide feedback.
•Deliver work products in line with schedule commitments and implementation plans.
•Identify risks/issues and propose mitigation plans to remove barriers.
•Apply Agile methodology knowledge and participate in team activities, ceremonies and efforts to continuously improve.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Senior Technology Solution Architect role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
•5+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect.
•3-5 years’ experience with agile methodologies (Scrum) and DevOps practices.
•2-3 years’ direct experience with Azure
•3-5 years’ experience with DevOps tool chains (Git, Jenkins).
•3-5 years’ experience with Databases (Oracle DB2, SQL, MS SQL Server).
•Strong experience providing technical leadership to development/delivery teams.
•Strong understanding of SDLC and ITIL processes.
•Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
•Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
•Strong knowledge of system design tools.
•Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

What additional experience do you bring?
