(Assistants, ECE’s and ITE’s)

Become a part of our Teaching Team of passionate Early Childhood Educators! Training provided for the right person.

Support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with families, co-workers and community service providers working with children. Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits. Establish guidelines for behaviour and foster independence.
Lead activities by implementing curriculum, telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest, provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity. Support development of fine and gross motor skills. Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.

Qualifications and Skills:
BC License to Practice as an Early Childhood Educator.

Building Blocks will support you through the education component if you are in the process of acquiring your License to Practice (enrolling).

If you are interested in becoming an Early Childhood Educator and working with children. Please note that you do not yet have your License to Practice, but are interested in acquiring it, when you submit your resume.
